Chris Kael recalls the first time he saw Chris Cornell in concert

Chris Cornell, frontman of Soundgarden and Audioslave, died suddenly at the age of 52. Chris Kael recalled the first time he saw Cornell in concert: "I first saw Chris Cornell at @bogartsshows in #Cincinnati. @soundgarden, with whom I was completely unfamiliar, was sandwiched between the two bands I was there to see - #Danzig and #CorrosionOfConformity. I didn't care at all and had my back to them as I flirted with a girl I had met at the show. The minute that voice came pouring out of the PA, I literally forgot about any chance of a connection with this girl, turned around and was transfixed on what I was seeing and hearing for the next 40 minutes. One of only two voices that have made me stop whatever it was I was doing at the time and lose myself in their voices (@officiallzzyhale at the @hardrockhotellv pool was the other). To have those looks and that voice and STILL unable to find happiness? Depression is truly Louder Than Love. #RIPChrisCornell #ShitNoSon"
